Pediatric Rehabilitation
Pediatric physical therapy is essential for children facing various physical challenges, such as developmental delays, congenital conditions, or injuries. This specialized form of therapy focuses on improving mobility, strength, and motor skills to help children participate fully in daily activities and reach their developmental milestones. Through age-appropriate exercises, activities, and interventions, we work closely with children and their families to address specific needs and promote optimal physical function. Early intervention is key in pediatric physical therapy, as it can prevent long-term limitations and facilitate greater independence as children grow. We are here to provide individualized care and support to help children thrive and achieve their highest potential.
Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist
The number of individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder is rising rapidly. Here at Adept Motion Physical Therapy, we believe that special training on how to treat these individuals is essential. This training helps us understand the unique challenges an Autistic person faces so we can tailor the environment to help them succeed and adapt the treatment to the person's strengths.
Certified Primitive Reflex Clinical Specialist
Primitive reflexes are something we are all born with. They help infants in the birthing process as well as with feeding. However, if the primitive reflexes are not properly integrated in a timely manner they can interfere with motor control and more advanced movements. We can identify persistent primitive reflexes and help your child to integrate those reflexes so they can improve their function.
Visual Rehabilitation Certificate
Many motor development delays have concurrent oculomotor dysfunction (difficulty moving the eyes correctly). This can exacerbate motor control problems and decrease reading ability. We include oculomotor assessment and treatment if needed in our pediatric patients.
